- copy wmploc.dll in C:\Windows\System32
- copy Windows Media Player folder to C:\Program Files

It doesn't work on Windows XP/Vista!

WORKS ONLY ON "Windows 7"!!!

no, i posted this just to provide the player for windows 7 users that lost their original WMP files (i lost them a lot of times by editing them and forgetting to backup them)

i guess that makes sense
also i heard that there WAS a way to get wmp 12 to work on xp/vista using reshack. is there any truth to this?
