Testing BitDefender 2013 Beta on Windows 8 Consumer Preview... I have to say, it's way better than Norton 2013 Beta :D

Does it give you a licence over 60 days or is it just that's how long they give you to test, if it's just 60 days I might just stick with 2012

It's just 60 days for now... anyway I don't have it anymore because I upgraded from Windows 8 Consumer Preview to Windows 8 Release Preview. I will probably give it a try when the final version of BitDefender is out :D

I just installed the Beta, if you have an activation key from the '12 version you get it for as long as your key is still valid, I can't say that I like a few f the UI changes in '13 but it's good all in all, MUCH better than that blight Norton's created

I got some licenses for version 2012 but apparently they don't work :| I'm not sure why, they were free on a BitDefender giveaway webpage... but they don't work on 2012 and neither on 2013 (they were for BitDefender IS 2012). Yeah Norton is bad :( they still detect too many false positives :(

Give away? Are you sure that it wasn't just a scam? There are A LOT of Bitdefender imitator Viruses out there

Huh, then it's weird that it wouldn't work ._. Oh hey you said you have the new RP for Windows 8? how is that? I've been thinking about installing it but I'm not sure if my Intel graphics or Steam games would work

it's way faster and more stable than CP and I think they released Intel graphics drivers for Windows 8 RP already :D the games work perfectly for me but I use ATI :(

Ive seen most antiviruses are getting support for Windows 8, and they are also slightly tweaking their interface to Metro :/
